Common questions
Answers
How do I cancel on iPhone?
Open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Plant Sickness Identifier and tap Cancel Subscription. You can also go there from the app: Settings, then Manage subscription.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Premium stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
How do I cancel on Android?
Open the Google Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Choose Plant Sickness Identifier and tap Cancel subscription.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
How do I get a refund on iPhone?
Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases, and we cannot issue them ourselves. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, choose “Request a refund”, pick a reason and select the Plant Sickness Identifier purchase. Apple decides and replies by email.
How do I get a refund on Android?
Within 48 hours of the payment, you can ask Google directly: open your Google Play order history, find the purchase and choose Request a refund.
After 48 hours, write to us with the form on this page, choose “Billing or subscription” and include your Google Play order number (it starts with GPA.). We will look at it.
How do I restore my purchase?
In the app, open Settings and tap Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you paid with. A subscription bought on iPhone does not move to Android, or the other way round.
What are free uses?
Without Premium, you get free uses every day. Each scan and each message to Sprouty uses one, and the app shows how many are left. They refill every day. A scan that fails does not use one. Premium removes the daily limit.
Why might a result be wrong?
Results come from AI, which can be wrong. Common reasons: a blurry or dark photo, symptoms that are still early, problems that look alike, more than one problem at once, or an unusual plant.
For a better result, take the photo in daylight, get close to the affected leaves, and check the underside of leaves for pests. If the plant is wrong, tap “Not this plant?” to choose the right one. Telling us “Was this right?” on a result helps us improve.
Which languages does the app speak?
From version 2.0, the app, its results and Sprouty work in 30 languages. It follows your phone's language, and you can pick another in the app's Settings, under Language. Earlier versions answer in English.
How do I delete my data?
Your scans and chats are on your phone: delete them in the app, or delete the app. We keep almost nothing on our servers. Delete data explains it all, including how to ask us to delete a support conversation.
